Have you been told by your medical doctor that you have metabolic syndrome?

Help us understand how exercise sessions of shorter duration could improve health outcomes for adults with metabolic syndrome. The effect of a time-efficient high-intensity exercise (what we term ‘reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training [REHIT]’) versus an exercise program with a much lower intensity but combined with restriction of blood flow to your exercising leg muscles (what we term ‘blood flow restriction [BFR] moderate-intensity exercise’) on multiple aspects of your health, including your vessel and heart health, will be investigated.
